Thriving in your Single Seasons: Trusting in God's Timing

Last week, we reflected on the importance of being joyful, even as a single , understanding that joy comes from knowing our identity in Christ. This week, I am trusting the Holy Spirit to help us consider another important subject: time —specifically, trusting in God's timing. Before we dive deeper, I want to ask you: What comes to mind when you think of time? How would you define it? Is it something you feel you have control over, or do you find yourself struggling to trust that time will bring what you hope for? Genesis 8:22 and Ecclesiastes 3:1 Genesis 8:22 says, “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.” I want you to notice the similarities in these verses.
