Welcome to Year 2025!

Hello! Long time, no blog post!

It feels so good to be back after a short break from blogging. Stepping into a new year always feels like opening a fresh chapter, and I’ve been taking some time to reflect, pray, and seek direction for what’s ahead.

As we dive into today’s post, I’m filled with excitement about what 2025 holds—not just for me, but for all of us.

Today’s blog post has three main objectives:

  • To wish you a Happy New Year!
  • To do a quick recap of last year’s blog posts.
  • To share what you can expect from this blog in the coming year.

So, let’s dive in!

1. Happy New Year!

Even though we’re at the tail end of January, I still want to say Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025—a year the Lord has chosen and ordained for your greatness and transformation! This is not just a cliché; it’s a truth you should embrace and rejoice in. Call your name and declare, “2025 is the year the Lord has ordained for me!”

There are many ways to start the year, but I truly hope you began this year with God. As Hebrews 12:2 reminds us, Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. As children of God, on this journey of faith, Jesus Christ is the One we should keep our eyes on. Our focus shouldn’t shift from Him. Everything we need on this journey in 2025 is embedded in Jesus. So, keep your gaze fixed on Him.

Once again, I warmly welcome you into this great year!

2. Recap of Last Year’s Blog Posts

Let’s take a quick look back at some of the key blog posts from last year:

  • Post 1: Coming to the Lord as You are
This post emphasized that God wants us to come to Him as we are—no masks, no pretences. It doesn’t matter how broken or vulnerable we feel. God desires us, just as we are. You can read the full post here.

  • Post 2: In God's Care
We explored how God is not just our Lord but also our Shepherd. He wants to lead, guide, and provide for us in every way. Don’t box Him in—allow Him to fully take charge of your life and meet your needs!

3. What to Expect This Year

This year, the Holy Spirit will guide us in exploring what it means to be a purposeful single. We’ll dive into various topics, including:

  • Building a purposeful and godly relationship.
  • Preparing for a purposeful marriage.
  • Living an intentional and impactful life.
  • And so much more!

So, stay tuned for these upcoming posts, and prepare your heart to grow deeper in faith, purpose, and intentionality this year.

If you’re as excited as I am, share your expectations in the comment section! And if any of these blog posts have blessed you in any way, I’d love to hear your feedback.

Here’s to a year of purpose, growth, and alignment with God’s will. Let’s do this together!
